

Reed Switches
Reed Switches should
give you years of service if installed correctly
Switches should be
securely screwed and not located where it can be
knocked or broken off.
The wiring should have a soldered joint, and
sealed with Heat Shrink
for best results.

Mini Reeds are mainly used
on windows and can be concealed in the sliding window cavity by the adhesive
tape and screwing it in position to prevent it from falling off.


Button reeds are usually
used in door frames. They are pressed in position by drilling a 3/8" hole, they
can be painted over to prevent them being seen.


External Reeds are mainly
used on garden Sheds or on sliding Door Frames, where a concealed switch is
impossible to fit. They have a wide gap tolerance, ideal for old
buildings or sheds, they can be
mounted in sheds, garage doors, manholes, etc.


Roller Door Reeds are used on
Roller Doors. The base is screwed to the concrete beneath the door, and
the magnet with the bracket mounted to the door.
